Our First Ultrasound Picture
This was taken on September 13, 2007, at which point I was 6 weeks and 5 days. If you're like me, you can't tell a whole lot from this picture - but that little circle in the middle is the baby.

Congratulations! What do you mean you can't tell anything by that picture? I can see the eyes, the mouth and everything! Pa-leese, I couldn't tell any body parts the entire time unless the tech pointed them out to me. It just so surreal. I remember the flood of emotions too - Wes and I both teared up. Even reading your post brought back memories and the tears too. I'm so excited for the two of you. What did Ryan do/say?

I just love your blog and that I can share in your excitement from afar!!!
Miss you!
Danielle,
You are too funny...for a minute I thought you were actually being serious when you said you could see all those things! I was terrible...like that episode of Friends where Rachel kept telling the doctor she could see it because she didn't want the doctor to think she was a "bad mom," but in reality she could not see a thing. While you couldn't discern anything about the body, I do know the baby's little heart is strong - I don't think I will ever forget that sound as long as I live. I, of course, teared up. As expected, Ryan didn't tear up but asked tons of questions and was very curious about everything. The doctor and ultrasound tech thought he was hysterical....
Thank you, Jessi - I love your blog too! I miss you dear friend - move back to the states soon!!
I just found your blog. I can't wait to follow. Congrats on your pregnancy!
