I picked up this cute Alice in Wonderland teapot for a steal a couple of months ago at the "Teej" (one of my co-workers' nicknames for TJ Maxx).

And today, I bought these cute heart-shaped teacups and saucers from Haute Look, just in time for Valentine's Day.

Looks like we will be ready for tea time!

Ella got a little tea set for her birthday this year and loves it. She plays with a lot and it's really cute too! You can even personalize them with their name. Here's the link:

When my grandmother passed away my mom was going to get rid of all her collectible tea cups and we kept them for my (at the time) future girls. They play with them ALL the time at Mimi's house now. Very sweet, when at one time they could have been yard sale items but now are favorite toys. :)
I think it's just fabulous. Tea is a wonderful tradition that our family has shared in for generations-eldest is the third. It seems like tea is not just about the drink, the sandwhiches, or the scones and other treats. It's about that quiet time with someone you love. It's the thoughtful conversation sparked by the lull in time. You'll be amazed by the talks you'll have and the laughter over tea. When you and your sweet girl do decide to take your first tea together, cherish it and make it a habit as she grows older. It's only a suggestion, but I believe you'll both appreciate it.
I love, love, LOVE the tea pot and cups. What lovely keepsakes!
How stinkin' cute! Now you need to learn to make Casey's scones to go with your tea (:
I love the heart shaped tea cups. So cute!
Also, I just took a few minutes to read back through some of your older posts and I just have to say that your daughter is adorable. Such a cutie!
