I got the following New Balance running shoes off of Zappos.com (have you ever been to that website? If you haven't, check it out immediately.). I really needed a new pair of running shoes - my Nike shoes were looking a little worse for wear - and these will be great for getting back into shape after the delivery, hopefully sooner than later!
But if I am to be honest with myself, I have to admit that I am secretly lusting over these stilettos from Alexander McQueen instead:
Check out that heel! I know they're insane, but they are too pretty for words....
On the purse front, I would love to get this great purse:
But will instead be purchasing in the next couple of weeks a much more practical diaper bag:
Wow, how times change! You've got to give me this, though - at least my diaper bag is kind of cute and not bright pink or covered with some cartoon characters!!!

I'm glad to report that Mom-mode doesn't last forever. I remember about a month after I had Colin I HAD to go shopping for myself (Target was the store of choice). Even for a while after that, most of my purchases were baby related but now I am an equal opportunity shopper! I do love the diaper bag of choice.

I found your blog today! Congrats on the new baby. I absolutely LOVE the chair! My baby girl just turned two. It is so much fun! We did her nursery in pink/brown too!
i LOVE the purse--the diaper bag is adorable and you'll be ever so chic, but i must know where the purse can be procured? no babies for me yet so i'll take the amazing bag. hope all goes will with the delivery!
