Picture Me Blushing

Emily at Emily Clark is featuring our dresser update on her blog today and I couldn't be more honored!

Emily's blog is one of my favorites. She has an unbelievable design aesthetic and I always love reading about her latest finds and ideas. She has more creativity in her little finger than I do in my whole body! Plus, she's a Kentucky girl at heart which makes her a kindred spirit!

In case you didn't catch my original post about our Craigslist dresser makeover for Alexandra's big girl room, you can read some more on it here and here. I just love how it turned out, but all of the credit really goes to my husband, Ryan - since I can't touch oil-based paint right now as I'm 33 (!!) weeks pregnant, Ryan did all of the labor without issuing one complaint. What a guy!

I clicked over from Emily's blog and I LOVE this. I especially love that you shared what you used to repaint this. I saw one last week at GW for like $25, but didn't buy it because I wasn't sure how to paint it. I LOVE it for my little girl, but wasn't sure how to do it! Now, I just need to find another one! :-) Yours is GORGEOUS.

Wow! Love that dresser... so fun! I also adore that bedding you showed bellow for the baby boy room. Of course, I do love me some chevron, but with the owls it is going to be darling! Can't wait to see pics of the finished product.
