The partners at work treated everyone in the firm to "Legally Blonde - The Musical." How fitting that a law office full of women who love both the law and fashion should go see this incredible musical together!
LOVED it, just a fantastic play! The songs were very catchy, and one in particular called "Omigod" has been in my mind ever since. It's funny, because Alexandra has recently started saying her own version of OMG, which comes out as "oh my goosness" - yes, goosness not goodness. We have no idea where she picked it up (oh, who am i kidding, probably her mother who tends to say this a lot and be a bit of a drama queen), but it's so cute!
I finally crawled out from underneath a rock and decided to catch up this summer on the first two seasons of Glee since I don't know a soul who doesn't love this show. Luckily, Fox is replaying the first season from beginning to end this summer and I caught the first show tonight. Safe to say I am officially hooked!
Ryan and I are gearing up for a trip to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina for a friend's wedding. We've been to HHI a few different times now and just love it, so we are happy to be going back for such a happy occasion.
I'm already plotting out which books I want to take. Based upon all of your fantastic comments regarding The Time Traveler's Wife, I have picked it back up. I'll also probably re-read Eclipse since the movie is coming out in a couple of weeks. Yes, I admit it - I am Sara, I am 32, I am a professional working woman (and not a teen), and I LOVE Twilight. I was late to the game in reading the series until my sister pointed out the error of my ways and convinced me to read Twilight - once I was finished with it, there was no turning back!

So glad you jumped on the Glee bandwagon! Super-fun, huh?! I just hopped on the Twilight bandwagon myself this last weekend (talk about late to the party!), but am totally loving it! I figured if all these respectable women could admit to reading and enjoying the books, then it must be worth giving a try. Glad I did :)

I love Glee but missed the first season I'm so excited to hear Fox is replaying it and I can finally catch up! Have a great time in HHI! It is by far one of my favorite beaches!

I've seen the musical on tv, and loved it too! So glad you got to see it. That song Omigod got stuck in my head forever too. I seriously liked all the songs, they're so catchy.

I feel bad for not adding Glee to my DVR....when it came out, I just didn't have enough memory and honestly, not enough time. I'm sure I would love it. I am also a 32 working mom who HEARTS Twilight. Can't wait for Eclipse to come out!!!
I'd like to go to HH some day...I can't believe you are just starting Glee. I have been hooked since the preview episode last summer! Still no Twilight for me, though. I know I should, but I just haven't. I started reading Sarah's Key which I recommended for you and it's very good. Heart-wrenching but very good.

I saw Legally Blonde on Wednesday in L'Ville with my college friends and I LOVED IT!! I loved the OMG song and cracked up at the courtroom scene and the Gay or Eurpoean song! It was a wonderful show. I smiled throughout! & I totally understand about the Twlight thing. I cringe when I talk about reading them b/c I am nearly 30, but I loved them and I will be going to see that movie. I might even be one of THOSE people who go to the midnight showing... :) Glad you got to see LB. It was super cute!

Oh girl - I finally read all the Twilight books too after all my friends (in their late 20's and 30's) convinced me to do so! LOVE THEM!
I am beyond jealous about your trip to Hilton Head. We took a family vacation there last summer (when we lived in Charlotte and were closer!) and had an amazing time. So many great memories. Have a blast!
