Speaking of joy, I cannot begin to convey how excited I am for the upcoming release of Sex & The City 2 - I think I've watched the extended theatrical trailer a dozen or so times now and get pumped every time I view it! Here it is again for your viewing pleasure:
To celebrate the upcoming release of the movie, over the next week or so I will be sharing some of my favorite SATC moments. Sticking with the summer vibe, I knew I had to start out with a clip from the episode Cock-a-Doodle-Do, where the girls celebrate summer on the rooftop with Flirtinis and a bunch of drag queens - you know, a typical summer night!

i LOVE all of those dresses! i dont like shorts on me either.....i'd rather wear a cute dress. have you ordered from modcloth before? i've looked online at their stuff, but never ordered. i just wondered about the quality.

Your daughter is SO precious. I am really excited about the 2nd SATC movie too. I love dresses, but I am lazy about finding bras that will work with those styles - I guess strapless? I usually stick to things that I can wear my normal bra with. But I think I should branch out...
loving the uni choices! that is my go-to staple in the summer months as well, especially in the oklahoma heat! i didn't put addi in many dresses last summer because she was crawling and they would just frustrate her, but this summer, her closet is already full of darling dresses! i typically find pretty cute ones for me at old navy and target too...you might look there!

I'm also a fan of summer dresses! (I only own 1 pair of shorts!) J. Crew has some AMAZING pretties! I usually wear flip flops (home) or beaded flops (out). Those wedges look great though! Now...if that summer weather would get here! :)

Couldn't agree more! After being pregnant for two whole summers (2007 & 2009) I learned to L.O.V.E. dresses & sandals (especially long maxi dresses). I also love a casual tank top and skirt.

Definitely agree that dresses are the way to go! I've had to opt more for the skirt/tank combo during pregnancy, but SO looking forward to doing dresses next summer :)

Such a cute little dress on her! I share your loathing of shorts. I am just not a fan of them these days (which is funny because back in the day I liked to flaunt itty bitty shorts...but no more!) Anyway--I've got my eye on this Jcrew dress. It looks tolerable in this weather!
