(Yours truly, under what had to have been the biggest hat at Kentucky Oaks - yes, I promise I'm under there somewhere!)
I'd love to post more pictures and tell more stories, but truth of the matter is I am flat out exhausted and gearing up for tomorrow's Derby festivities (thunderstorms and all). I will be sure to post plenty of pictures on Sunday after this whirlwind adventure is complete. Please be sure to cheer on our friend's horse, Mission Impazible! (He will be in the 14th position in the Derby race, and the jockey's silks are lime green and brown.)

Gorgeous! I mean if you're not going to make a big statement with your hat then you might as well just stay home!
what I can see of you looks fabulous! Love it!!!
Oh Sara, that hat is TDF!!! My friend is there and going to the Historic Homes brunch tomorrow. I helped her with her hat...she's from there but has been transplanted in AR. Have fun...even though it's gonna rain!
Sara, your hat is gorgeous!!! I know you were as well. Once you are well-rested from your fabulous Derby activities, you must share them and your pictures. Enjoy the races and this time with your family.

Have a fun time at the Derby! Hope the weather improves, mostly for the horses. That would be awful for one to fall. I was at the Preakness a couple of years ago, and watched one fall right in front of me (I was literally sitting in the front row to all of it). Needless to say, they had to euthanize him right there because he had a terrible broken leg, it was awful. Hope all the horses stay up while racing tomorrow. I'll never forget poor Barbaro. :(
Gorgeous!
Such a pretty hat! Hope the weather cooperates with y'all. Can't wait to hear all about it. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! xoxo
Have fun at the Derby! Hopefully the weather improves for you.
Love the hat and can't wait to hear all about the fun.
We are in Florida so we are watching it on Tv. Our first visit to Florida since moving to northern Kentucky and I am loving the weather!
Just watched the derby--I was pulling for him! Your hat looks fabulous :) Hope you're having a wonderful time.

That hat is FABULOUS! Hope you had a great week at the Downs. Sorry your friend's horse didn't win. How wonderful, though, that the sun came out during My Old Kentucky Home?
LOVE this hat! I can't wait to see your derby hat!
